Never thought I would become a bitter fan with no excitement left for Pakistan cricket team. It doesn’t feel right watching them, no emotions, no care whether they lose or win. Pakistan Cricket matches used to bring joy, that wait for the match day, that thrill but now it’s just like another day. The world cricket reaches to another level while we are going backwards with no expectation of any change. Same old faces, same mistakes, same results, same excuses, no accountability, no acceptance of reality and no real chance of winning. The decade of 2020s was the start of a painful death of Pakistan cricket and every cricket fan who has seen better days. Pakistan won the series but at what cost? We don’t pay our bills to watch this brand of cricket. We expect better, we deserve better and we demand better.
