A great Initiative by Pakistan Football Federation
The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), in collaboration with FIFA and the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, has launched the FIFA Football for Schools Programme in Pakistan.
This nationwide initiative aims to take football to the grassroots level. Under this programme, more than 1 million students across 3,000 public schools will be engaged, a network of trained teachers and coaches to be developed.
The initiative is not only to identify future football talent, but also to promote confidence, leadership, inclusion and teamwork among young people.
The launch ceremony was attended by Ms. Syeda Amnah Batool, Member National Assembly and Focal Person for the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme. She also serves as a member of FIFA’s Institutional Relations Committee, representing Pakistan globally.
This marks an important step for the future of football and youth development in Pakistan.
