آج اسلامیہ کالج پشاور ہاکی اکیڈمی میں “معرکۂ حق” کے عنوان سے ایک خصوصی ایونٹ کا انعقاد کیا گیا، جس میں بریگیڈیئر مبشر احمد عباس بطور چیف گیسٹ شریک ہوئے۔ اس موقع پر اسلامیہ کالج پشاور کے وائس چانسلر، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سید الرحمن سلجوقی بھی موجود تھے۔ ان کے ہمراہ پاکستان کے اولمپئن ہاکی لیجنڈ رحیم خان بھی شریک تھے، جنہیں ہاکی میں “ریورس فلک کے موجد” کے طور پر جانا جاتا ہے۔ اس کے علاوہ فیض محمد فیضی بھی تقریب میں موجود تھے، جو ایشین ہاکی فیڈریشن امپائرنگ کمیٹی کے چیئرمین ہیں۔

ایونٹ کے دوران سابق اسلامین اور نئے اسلامین کے درمیان ایک دلچسپ ہاکی میچ کھیلا گیا، جس میں سابق اسلامین نے 5-3 سے کامیابی حاصل کی۔ میچ میں کھلاڑیوں نے بہترین کھیل، جذبے اور اسپورٹس مین اسپرٹ کا شاندار مظاہرہ کیا۔

تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے بریگیڈیئر مبشر احمد عباس نے کھلاڑیوں کی کارکردگی کو سراہا اور کہا کہ پاکستان ایک امن کا گہوارہ ہے۔ انہوں نے اس عزم کا اظہار کیا کہ ان شاء اللہ پاکستان پر کسی بھی قسم کی آنچ نہیں آنے دی جائے گی۔ انہوں نے نوجوانوں کو کھیلوں اور مثبت سرگرمیوں میں بھرپور حصہ لینے کی بھی تلقین کی۔

یہ ایونٹ کھیلوں کے فروغ، قومی یکجہتی اور نوجوانوں میں مثبت سرگرمیوں کے رجحان کو فروغ دینے کی ایک خوبصورت مثال ثابت ہوا۔

پاکستان زندہ باد!

Today, a special event titled “Marka-e-Haq” was held at the Islamia College Peshawar Hockey Academy, where Brigadier Mubasher Ahmed Abbas attended as the Chief Guest. The Vice Chancellor of Islamia College Peshawar, Professor Dr. Syed Rehman Saljoqi, also attended the event. Accompanying them was Pakistan’s Olympic hockey legend, Rahim Khan, who is widely known as the “Inventor of the Reverse Flick” in hockey. In addition, Faiz Muhammad Faizi, Chairman of the Asian Hockey Federation Umpiring Committee, also attended the event.

During the event, an exciting hockey match was played between Former Islamians and Fresh Islamians, in which the Former Islamians secured a 5-3 victory. The players displayed excellent sportsmanship, passion, and competitive spirit throughout the match.

Addressing the ceremony, Brigadier Mubashir Ahmed Abbas appreciated the performance of the players and said that Pakistan is a cradle of peace. He expressed confidence that, Insha’Allah, no harm would be allowed to come to Pakistan. He also encouraged young people to actively participate in sports and positive activities.

The event proved to be a positive step towards promoting sports, national unity, and constructive engagement among youth.

آج اسلامیہ کالج ہاکی اکیڈمی کے لیے ایک بہت بڑا اعزاز کا دن تھا۔ پاکستان کے نامور اولمپین شکیل عباسی نے اکیڈمی کا دورہ کیا۔

انہوں نے اکیڈمی کے جونیئر کھلاڑیوں سے ملاقات کی، ان کی کارکردگی کو سراہا اور خاص طور پر ان کی حوصلہ افزائی کی۔ انہوں نے نوجوان کھلاڑیوں کو اپنے ٹیلنٹ کو پہچاننے اور اسے مزید نکھارنے کا مشورہ دیا۔

اس موقع پر ایک جونیئر کھلاڑی محمد سنان کو خصوصی طور پر سراہا گیا۔ اولمپین نے اس کی صلاحیتوں کی تعریف کی اور اسے مزید محنت کرنے کی تلقین کی۔

محمد سنان نے بھی اس حوصلہ افزائی کو دل سے قبول کیا اور عزم کیا کہ وہ انشاء اللہ مستقبل میں نہ صرف خیبر پختونخوا بلکہ پورے پاکستان کا نام روشن کریں گے اور قومی ٹیم کی نمائندگی کریں گے۔

Today was a proud and memorable day for Islamia College Hockey Academy, as renowned Olympian Shakeel Abbasi visited the academy.
He interacted with the junior players, appreciated their performance, and encouraged them to continue working hard. He also guided them to recognize and develop their true potential.
During his visit, a young player, Muhammad Sanan, received special appreciation. The Olympian praised his talent and motivated him to keep improving.
Inspired by this encouragement, Muhammad Sinan expressed his determination to one day represent Pakistan and bring pride not only to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but to the entire nation.

محمد نعمان اور توحید ٹیم پاکستان کے لیے انٹرنیشنل بال اینڈ ڈیک ہاکی سیریز MAMUT 2026 میں منتخب ہو گئے ہیں۔ ان کی مہارت، محنت اور کھیل میں کارکردگی نے انہیں نمایاں کر دیا ہے۔

یہ اپنی نوعیت کا پہلا ایونٹ ہے اور دونوں کھلاڑی بین الاقوامی سطح پر پاکستان کی نمائندگی کریں گے۔ وہ اپنی کھیل کی سمجھ، فٹنس اور میچ کی تیاری کے ساتھ میدان میں اتریں گے۔

محمد نعمان اس وقت یو او پی کے ایچ پی ای پروگرام میں زیرِ تعلیم ہیں۔ وہ سابقہ اسلامین ہیں اور پہلے اسلامیہ کالج میں کھیل چکے ہیں، جہاں انہوں نے اسٹک مہارت، فیلڈ وژن اور مقابلہ جاتی ذہانت کو نکھارا۔

توحید ایک پھرتیلے اور مضبوط کھلاڑی کے طور پر جانے جاتے ہیں۔ ان کی تیز حرکت، بال کنٹرول، قوت برداشت اور فیصلہ سازی انہیں میدان میں ایک متحرک کھلاڑی بناتی ہیں۔

دونوں کھلاڑیوں کی تربیت ان کے کوچ محمد نواز نے کی ہے، جنہوں نے ان کی تکنیکی مہارت، کھیل کی حکمت عملی اور جسمانی فٹنس کو بہتر بنانے میں اہم کردار ادا کیا۔

آئی سی پی ہاکی اکیڈمی کو یقین ہے کہ دونوں کھلاڑی نہ صرف اکیڈمی کے لیے بلکہ پاکستان کے لیے بھی نام روشن کریں گے۔ اکیڈمی کی جانب سے محمد نعمان اور توحید کے لیے نیک تمنائیں-

Muhammad Nauman and Taheed have achieved a proud milestone by earning selection for Team Pakistan in the International Ball and Dek Hockey Series MAMUT 2026. Their skills, discipline, and performance have made them stand out.

They will represent Pakistan at the international level in this first-of-its-kind event, showcasing their game sense, athleticism, and match readiness on a historic stage.

Muhammad Nauman is currently enrolled in the UOP HPE program. He is an ex-Islamian and previously played for Islamia College, where he refined his stick skills, field vision, and competitive mindset.

Taheed is known as an agile and strong player with excellent speed, endurance, and sharp decision-making. His quick reactions, ball control, and physical strength make him a dynamic presence on the field.

Both Muhammad Nauman and Taheed were trained by their coach Muhammad Nawaz, whose expert guidance and focus on tactical awareness, fitness, and game strategy have shaped them into elite-level players.

ICP Hockey Academy is confident that both athletes will bring honor not only to the academy but also to Pakistan. The academy wishes them the
very best as they step onto the international stage.
