🥉 Alhamdulillah! 3 Gold 🥇, 2 Silver 🥈, 12 Bronze 🥉

Under the leadership of Pakistan Karate Federation Chairman Mr. Muhammad Jahangir, 24 male and female athletes, 2 coaches, 1 referee, and 1 coach (for the course) participated in the 10th Cadet, Junior, Under-21 & Senior South Asian Karate Championship and the 2nd Under-14 South Asian Karate Cup Competition, held in Dhaka, Bangladesh, from 15 to 19 July 2026.

The Pakistani athletes won a total of 17 medals, including 3 Gold 🥇🥇🥇, 2 Silver 🥈🥈, and 12 Bronze 🥉🥉🥉🥉🥉🥉🥉🥉🥉🥉🥉🥉 medals.

In addition, one Pakistani referee and one coach appeared in the Asian Karate Federation Referee and Coach Examination. Both passed the examination and earned the distinction of becoming Qualified Referee and Qualified Coach.

"Referee Course and Coaches Course"
​The Pakistan Karate Federation is organizing a Divisional and Provincial level World Karate Federation (WKF) Competition Rules Referee/Judges Course, along with a Level 1 and Level 2 Coaches Course.
​Date: Tomorrow, Saturday, June 20
​Venue: Youth Sports Club, Gulistan-e-Johar, Karachi
​Registration: Starts at 9:00 AM
​Key Highlights & Speakers:
​Sensei Nasim Qureshi (Chief Referee, Pakistan Karate Federation) will brief the participants of both courses on the official rules using digital technology on a large screen.
​Dr. Quratulain Ain and Dr. Marina Khan will deliver briefings on critical topics, including harassment, safeguarding, doping, and manipulation integrity.
​Sensei Wasif Ali (Asian Karate Federation Qualified Coach) will conduct a session on coach responsibilities, video review, and the protest form process.
​Sensei Samra Ijaz (National and International Medalist Player) will brief the attendees on athlete responsibility.
​Conclusion:
​At the end of the courses, participants will undergo both theory and practical examinations. Successful candidates will be awarded certificates by the Pakistan Karate Federation.
