DCS Sports gala is one of the most exciting, paramount and energetic event of department of Computer Science GC University Lahore. Nearly all students participate with zeal and spirit of winning the game.It is an extensive platform where youthful interpersonal skills are set to an ethical promotion of originality.It is indubitably a prospect towards a practical ex*****on of ones talent. It is consisted of all the major games that are listed below.

General Information:
* General Rules for participation:
1. Minimum 4 Teams are required to conduct the Event.
3. All team players must be in playing kit
4. All team captains must be present at the time of draws
5. Dress shoes are not allowed on wooden courts
6. One player can participate in only one team of same game.
7. After 15 minutes walk over will be given to other team
8. Only Captain of the team can consult the umpire
9. SESSION WISE teams must be formed for Cricket..
10. Volley ball, Squash, football, Basket ball, Badminton, table tennis, tug of war, carom games and Tennis games are OPEN for all DCS students (boys and girls both).
11. Decision of umpire / referee will be final.
12. Team/s must report at venue at least 1 hour before their competition.
13. Team/s violating the rules may be disqualified.
14. For team competition in badminton and table tennis and tennis the format of play will be as under
1st Match Single, 2nd Match Double, 3rd Match Single.
11. Semi final and final will be played accordingly:
1st Match Single, 2nd Match Double, 3rd Match Single, 4th Match Double, 5th Match Single.
12. All Games are open for MS students and girls of BS. They may register cross session team. Team must consist of 11 players and one extra player
2. Each team will have 40 Mins to complete their overs
3. Only captain can consult the umpire in case of any ambiguity
4. Batting side will be given 5 extra runs after every 5 extra mins if bowling side consumes more than 40 Mins (Vice versa)
5. Bowling scheme will be as following:
Players 1(3), 2(2), 3(2), 4(1)
Foot ball:
1. Team will consist of 11 players
2. One half will be of 20 Mins. Basket Ball
1. Team will consist of 6 players
2. There will be to halfs and one half will be of 15 Mins. Volley Ball:
1. Game will be of 10 points
Carom:
1. Game will be of 29 points.
2. Each game will be of 45 mins. after 45 Mins, the team/ Player with more points will be the winner.
3. Game will be up on 24 if other team’s points are
