So ends, United's shortest season in terms of games played in over a century. 3rd place secured and with 4 competitions to compete in next season, this might be the last time we see a few faces start for us (atleast on a regular basis).

It's been a hot minute since we won away at Brighton, hopefully that changes today. Bruno needs 1 assist to outright hold the assist record in the Premier League and 2 to hold the record across the top 5 leagues. I'd be fine if he even gets 1, just praying our forwards don't forget their shooting boots tonight.

Not much to play for but a win against a tough side away will definitely do wonders.

A 3rd placed finish after finishing 14th last year is an incredible improvement for which the hierarchy and Carrick deserve full credit.

Mbeumo's goal is questionable, if it had been given against United I would've been furious. Bruno equals the PL record with 20 assists but honestly he should've had more, poor decision making from us in the final third.

Casemiro with his final game at Old Trafford, what a player he has been for us.

This time, I double checked. It is actually matchday 😂.

Our last home game of the season, our last time seeing Casemiro don the red shirt in front of Old Trafford. With needing just 1 point from 6 to guarantee a 3rd place finish, I think a lot of people will be more concerned with Bruno Fernandes equalling or potentially breaking the assist record.

It's also a chance to see Elliot Anderson play, who I would absolutely love to sign but he's most likely to head to City.

Let's hope we get a good game of football with an assist or two from Bruno Fernandes.

Guess we've found our new manager. And given the current landscape of the managerial market and how well he's done, it's hard to argue with the decision making. Now that once is done, I would expect to move quickly in the market to get a few targets before the World Cup begins. Big summer ahead.

The last time we went to The Stadium of Light, Ibrahimovic was on the scoresheet. With Champions League football secured, it would be easy to think that United might rotate and take their foot off the gas. But, I don't expect that of Carrick. I think he'll want to finish the season convincingly to make himself even further undeniable for the permanent job.

Sunderland are having a brilliant season back in the top flight, still in contention for European football so it is not going to be an easy game.

We've won 3 on the trot, I just hope we win the next 2 so that this fanbase can move on from that haircut guy 🙏.

Champions League football is coming back to Old Trafford after securing a double over Liverpool. Honestly, we could've and we should've scored more in the first half. Had them completely on the ropes. And yet, we self destructed at the start of the 2nd half. Both goals practically gifted, Lammens very casual for once. That is his worst performance for us probably but he has enough good will in the bank for that to not be held against him.

Poetic that Kobbie Mainoo gets the winner after signing a new contract. A man reborn.

What more can Carrick do with this squad? We are 3rd, 6 points clear of 4th. Surely, he has made himself undeniable.

Champions League qualification is practically guaranteed for both clubs but that won't dampen the ferocity between England's two biggest clubs.

Won the reverse fixture thanks to a Harry Maguire header, Liverpool have been at sixes and sevens all season so there's no predictable way to know which Liverpool will show up at Old Trafford.

Carrick has been pretty good at managing big games where we've been lethal in transitions. Cunha coming back will be a huge boost, Alisson and Isak will miss out for Liverpool.

Expecting a cracker of a game, hopefully we secure the 3 points.
