Maria Mahak (hockey goalkeeper) and PU coach Ms Sehrish Ghuman (2nd row in green coat) have been selected as player n coach respectively in the Pakistan National Hockey Under-21 Women Team to represent Pakistan in Oman.
The Directorate of Sports congratulates Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Ali whose leadership has played a significant role in developing PU Hockey Board and elevating the team position from previous 8th position to 1st position and now players and coach selection for the national team.
A few days ago a PU hockey men’s player was selected in the national team.
It is a matter of great pride for the Directorate of Sports and the entire Punjab University. We wish our players, coach and the Pakistan team for best performance in the event.
