• Courtesy (Ye Ui) – Show respect and good manners to everyone.
• Integrity (Yom Chi) – Be honest and stand up for what is right.
• Perseverance (In Nae) – Never give up, keep practicing and improving.
• Self-Control (Guk Gi) – Control emotions and stay calm under pressure.
• Indomitable Spirit (Baekjul Boolgool) – Have courage and never be shaken by fear.

🔹Korean Terminology for Beginners 🥋Yellow Belt (8th Kup)

For students beginning their Taekwondo journey at yellow belt, these are the some of most important Korean terms used in early training. Learning them builds confidence, discipline, and understanding of class structure.

🥋 Basic Commands
• Charyot (차렷) – Attention
• Kyong-rye (경례) – Bow
• Joon-bi (준비) – Ready stance
• Shi-jak (시작) – Begin / start
• Goman (그만) – Stop / finish
• Bah-ro (바로) – Return / relax
• Sheo (쉬어) – Rest

👊 Stances (Sogi)
• Charyot Sogi (차렷 서기) – Attention stance
• Joon-bi Sogi (준비 서기) – Ready stance
• Ap Sogi (앞 서기) – Walking stance
• Ap Koobi (앞 굽이) – Forward stance

✋ Blocks (Makki)
• Arae Makki (아래 막기) – Low block
• Momtong Makki (몸통 막기) – Middle block
• Eolgul Makki (얼굴 막기) – High block

👊 Strikes (Jireugi)
• Ap Jireugi (앞 지르기) – Front punch
• Momtong Jireugi (몸통 지르기) – Middle punch

🦵 Kicks (Chagi)
• Ap Chagi (앞 차기) – Front kick
• Dollyo Chagi (돌려 차기) – Roundhouse kick
• Yop Chagi (옆 차기) – Side kick

📖 Other Useful Terms
• Dobok (도복) – Training uniform
• Ti (띠) – Belt
• Kihap (기합) – Yell for focus and power
• Sabeomnim (사범님) – Instructor / Master (respectful title)
