I just shared this video to show that spearfishing is not about hunting whatever you want. Before teaching someone spearfishing, teach them which fish can be hunted and which cannot, which fish are in season, and during which seasons certain fish breed.

In this video, the diver Daniel tells another diver not to shoot an amberjack because it is out of season. You can also see the size of those jacks.

Yes, countries like Mexico, Australia, the USA, and many others have proper spearfishing rules, and I agree that Pakistan currently does not have clear regulations for spearfishing. So until proper rules exist, we should learn from countries that already follow sustainable practices and respect those rules.

Please don’t destroy our ocean by hunting irresponsibly. Protecting marine life today will help our ocean species grow and survive for the future.
