Athletes soar on the road to Milano Cortina 2026 with Olympic Solidarity scholarships
As the 2024-25 winter season draws to a close, athletes worldwide are setting their sights on the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. Over 400 athletes vying for a spot at the Games are receiving crucial support from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) through Olympic Solidarity scholarships. The transformative impact of this support has enabled athletes, including freestyle snowboarder Taiga Hasegawa (JPN), skeleton athlete Nicole Silveira (BRA), luge duo Roberts Plūme and Mārtiņš Bots (LAT), and many others to train at elite levels and achieve remarkable successes throughout the season.

اولمپک کھیلوں کی آرگنائزنگ کمیٹی LA28 نے آج اپنے مقام کے منصوبے کے سب سے جامع ورژن کا انکشاف کیا ہے، جس میں متعدد اولمپک کھیلوں کے مقامات اور لاس اینجلس کے کئی مشہور مقامات کے استعمال کی تصدیق کی گئی ہے۔

اگر اب یہ کھیل کراچی کے علاوہ کہیں اور منعقد کیے جاتے ہیں تو سندھ کی تمام ایسوسی ایشنز کو ان گیمز کا بائیکاٹ کرنا چاہیے۔ یہ سندھ کے کھلاڑیوں کے ساتھ بہت بڑی سازش ہے۔سندھ اولمپکس ایسوسی ایشن
کو سخت ایکشن لینا چاہیے۔

نصیب گل جنہوں نے سندھ کے لیے پہلا بین الاقوامی گولڈ میڈل اور نیا پاکستان ریکارڈ (ٹرپل جمپ) عالمی اسلامی کھیل ازمیر ترکی میں قائم کیا۔ یہ ریکارڈ 1976 سے 1984 تک برقرار رہا تھا.

Karachi Hockey Association is saddened to inform you all that Major (R) Mehmood Riaz ex- International Athletes, ex Sports Officer K-Electric and Sports officer KPT, brother in law of Olympian Rehan Butt has passed away today on 20th March 2025 at 7:30 am due to cardiac arrest in Karachi.
His funeral prayers will be offered tomorrow on Friday (21st March 2025) after Jumma Prayers at Bait ul Islam Masjid DHA Phase 4 opposite K- Electric Head Office Karachi.
Major (R) Mehmood Riaz was a true gentleman, he was among those few people who always helpful to others.
He was an essential part of Karachi Hockey Association, never refused for any favour and support.
Karachi Hockey Association's entire team feeling sad at the untimely demise of him.
May Allah Almighty bless his soul and gives patience to the family. Ameen
