Dear Fellow Sellers,
I wanted to bring to your attention a critical issue that some sellers might be unaware of - Section 3 (Counterfeit) compliance on Amazon.
We've recently had 30+ of our accounts placed under review, resulting in the deactivation of six. These accounts were primarily engaged in wholesale FBA, with no OA or DS involved.
To help you navigate this, I'd like to share some key insights:
1. Amazon may conduct surprise audits, catching you off guard. Be prepared.
2. Ensure Invoices are Genuine and Unaltered.
3. Maintain Well-Organized Invoice Records.
4. Provide Clear Pictures of Items, with FNSKU visible as a favorable factor.
5. While optional, a Letter of Authorization (LOA) can be a powerful tool.
6. Building strong, transparent relationships with suppliers is invaluable.
7. Maintain an Account Health of 200+ (Optional).
8. Ensure suppliers are well-informed about your Amazon sales activities.
9. Distributors Must Be Authorized by the Brand.
10. Invoices Should Originate from the Manufacturer or Authorized Distributor.
Here's an interesting Fact: Amazon might turn down the documents and images you provide and even deactivate your account. However, the stronger your case, the better your chances of ultimately prevailing. Keep up the good fight!
