Football players of Hazara woman's United FC, supported through the KAF She Plays, She Wins program, were selected to attend a training camp with the StevenGerrard.Academy, getting a taste of world-class coaching and exposure. It was an incredible experience that opened their eyes to new techniques and playing styles. Representing the many girls and women in Pakistan passionate about sports, they showed what's possible when given the chance. This is exactly the kind of momentum we need to drive change and inspire more girls to take up sports. Opportunities like these help bridge the gap between local talent and international standards, changing the narrative for women in sports here!

In many parts of Pakistan, cultural norms restrict girls from participating in outdoor sports and without safe indoor facilities available, countless girls are left with no option but to stay away from sports altogether. This gap in infrastructure doesn't just limit physical activity, it denies girls the chance to build confidence, develop skills, and pursue their athletic potential. By creating secure indoor spaces, we can ensure that cultural restrictions don't become barriers to participation and give every girl the opportunity to play.

Meet Saba — Coach and Founder of Hazara woman's United FC ⚽️
Despite resistance and limited resources, Saba never gave up. In 2025, Karishma Ali Foundation and Hazara Women United FC partnered through She Plays She Wins, directly impacting young girls from Quetta, including refugee girls living in Pakistan. Together, we expanded access to quality coaching, and created safe spaces for girls to play, grow, and lead.

We are thrilled to welcome Layla Banaras as the official Ambassador of KAF! ⚽️💚
Layla is not only a rising force on the pitch, but a true trailblazer for girls in sport. At just 19, she has already made history as one of the few South Asian women to play senior football in England, currently playing for Lewes FC, and representing the Pakistan Women’s National Team.
Beyond football, Layla is a strong advocate for inclusion, supporting Muslim athletes through initiatives like her Ramadan Nutrition Guide, proving that faith and high performance can go hand in hand.
She embodies representation, resilience, and empowerment, values at the heart of KAF. Together, we’ll continue breaking barriers and creating pathways for girls and young women across Pakistan.
