The 1st Kadalag-an Festival Invitational Table Tennis Tournament has officially come to a close, and what an incredible journey it has been. Over the past 2 days, we witnessed intense rallies, inspiring determination, and the true spirit of sportsmanship from every athlete who stepped up to the table.
We extend our deepest gratitude to our major partner, the City Government of Victorias, through Hon. Mayor Junb Bantug for for making this event possible. We are also truly thankful to our generous sponsors: RJA Travel Services, Alcobilla Eye Care, Sixfold Billiards Hall, EighTees, Matawhay Yard Cafe, Movemend Physical Therapy Clinic, RDMO Solar Services, Mr. & Mrs. Delagao, Tuyβs Pizza, and the Victorias City Bonsai Club.
Our appreciation also goes to our partners who extended their support: the Dumadaug Family, Schools Division Office, and Victorias National High School for lending their tables, and Alejandro AcuΓ±a Yap QuiΓ±a Memorial Elementary School for providing billeting classrooms for our visiting players.
Special thanks to Councilor Trisha Claro Majan for gracing our event with her presence in support of sports and youth development not only in Victorias City but also in all communities represented in this tournament.
To all the volunteers, players, parents, and coaches who traveled, supported, and competed with heart β thank you for being part of this historic event. And of course, congratulations to our champions who rose above the competition.
This tournament may have only crowned three champions, but every player who participated helped raise the bar for local table tennis and made this event truly meaningful.
Lastly, while this marks the end of the first Kadalag-an Festival Invitational Table Tennis Tournament, we believe it is only the beginning. With the continued support of our community and the growing passion for the sport, we look forward to making the next tournaments even bigger, stronger, and better.
