🏀 Game Review | Hotshots Basketball League
OLLC Blue Sharks 12U vs. Don Bosco Makati 12U

Today’s game in the Hotshots Basketball League was a hard-fought battle between two competitive teams, with the lead changing several times throughout the game. Both teams showed great effort and determination from start to finish.

In the final two minutes of the fourth quarter, Don Bosco’s size and inside presence made the difference as their bigs controlled the paint. Despite that, our Baby Blue Sharks never backed down. They continued to fight until the final buzzer, finishing the game with a respectable 9-point loss.

Considering this was only our second game together as a team, we are incredibly proud of the heart, grit, and resilience our players displayed. They competed with confidence, stayed together, and proved they can go toe-to-toe with one of the strongest 12U teams.

We still have a lot to improve—team chemistry, decision-making, communication, physicality, and basketball IQ—but that’s exactly what player development is all about. Every game is another opportunity to learn, grow, and become better.

To our Baby Blue Sharks, we are proud of each and every one of you. Keep working hard, stay humble, trust the process, and continue believing in yourselves. This is only the beginning, and we know brighter days are ahead.

Thank you to the parents, supporters, and everyone who continues to believe in our program. Your encouragement means a lot to our young athletes.
