Beyond Limits, Beyond Victory: CSU BSESS Wins 1st Runner‑Up in Fitness Relay at Mandaluyong City, August 23, 2026.

The Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science (BSESS) team of Cagayan State University finished strong at the 8th NCPEP Academic Excellence Summit 2026 – Skill Olympics, taking 1st Runner‑Up in the Fitness Relay.

The event was held at the Mandaluyong College of Science and Technology from August 21-23, 2026. The team was trained by Coach Daniel T. Casauay and Coach Teophil Keith Peralta, with support from Dean Hans Freyzer B. Arao of the College of Human Kinetics.

The runners — Divina Mae Umbay, Marinel Bungag, Justine Pamittan, Angelo Gabriel Buco, and John Loyd Tuliao — showed teamwork, speed, and determination. Their effort brought pride to CSU and inspired fellow students.

CAHS DAYS 2026

The College of Allied Health Sciences held its CAHS Days 2026 Sports Competition on July 30–31, 2026 at Cagayan State University – Andrews Campus.

Day 1 featured elimination rounds.

Day 2 was very challenging because of the extreme heat in Tuguegarao City. Some players and officials fainted, but everyone stayed strong. Games continued under the supervision of Teacher-in-Charge Mr. Kennedy Casino, and the event finished successfully.

CAHS Student Council Governor Jay Louisse Tangonan gave tokens of appreciation to all technical officials for their hard work and service.

SPERO Officials Ensure Fair Play Across Six Sports

CTED staged two days of spirited competition in basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, chess, and darts. From eliminations to finals, athletes showed skill and determination, while SPERO Technical Officials, led by Adviser Mr. Kennedy Casino, kept the games fair and organized.

CTED coaches and faculty also spotted standout players, preparing to recruit them for their teams in the upcoming intramurals. The event highlighted campus pride, teamwork, and sportsmanship, making CTED College Days 2026 a success.

TEAM CSU CARIG BAGS GOLD & SILVER AT THE 1ST JCI TUGUEGARAO KARATE-DO CHAMPIONSHIP — ROBINSONS MALLS, JULY 25, 2026!

The athletes of CSU Carig delivered a commanding performance at the inaugural JCI Tuguegarao Karate-Do Championship, showcasing discipline, skill, and determination across multiple divisions. Competing against tough opponents, the team proudly raised the university banner by securing both gold and silver medals.

The competition highlighted the team’s versatility—dominating in kata with precision and artistry, while battling fiercely in kumite to secure podium finishes. With three golds and nine silvers, TEAM CSU Carig proved their strength as one of the rising forces in regional karate.

Their performance not only brought honor to the university but also inspired the local community, embodying the spirit of sportsmanship and excellence. Truly, a championship to remember—OSS! 🥋

Salute to Our Technical Officials!

The College of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Accountancy (CBEA) held its College Days on July 23–24, 2026 at CSU–Andrews Campus.

To make sure all games were fair and well-managed, the College of Human Kinetics (CHK), through SPERO led by Adviser Mr. Kennedy Casino, gave full technical support. From the elimination rounds to the semi-finals and finals, our SPERO officials showed professionalism and fairness in handling Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis, and Chess.

Although the Women’s Volleyball match for third place was stopped due to class suspension caused by Tropical Storm Kiyapo, the event was still a big success—bringing unity, sportsmanship, and fun to the CBEA community.

Thank you to our technical officials for your hard work and dedication. You made CBEA College Days 2026 possible and memorable!
