Barangay Bangkito’s Captain Renato simple words of gratitude stayed with us.

As the farthest barangay in Tuburan, reaching the community wasn’t easy. The challenging terrain becomes even more difficult when the rain comes. It would have been easy to turn back but we chose to find a way .

Because sometimes, reaching those who are farthest reminds us why showing up matters. What may seem like a small gesture to us can mean so much to a community.

Thank you, Barangay Bangkito, for welcoming us and for making the journey worth every mile. 🧡

What a meaningful way to close the month of August.

The past few weeks have been incredibly busy for the team. Between planning the outreach, coordinating with the communities, working through logistics, and training for the CCTF race, there were days when it felt like we had too much on our plates.

There were challenges along the way. Things didn’t always go exactly as planned. But one thing remained clear—we wanted to make this happen.

And yesterday, it all came together.

We had the privilege of visiting four barangays in Tuburan and spending time with the children and the community. We are deeply grateful for the warm welcome, the kindness, and the hospitality extended to us.

But if there’s one thing we will remember most, it’s the children.

Their smiles. Their excitement. Their laughter.

There was something incredibly moving about seeing how happy they were—not because of anything grand, but simply because someone took the time to show up for them.

It reminded us that giving is not always about the size of what we can offer.

Sometimes, it’s about letting someone know that they matter.

We were also touched by the heartfelt words shared by the different barangays. Hearing their appreciation and seeing the community come together made the day even more meaningful for all of us.

Our first outreach may not have been perfect, but it was real. It was built on the time, effort, generosity, and willingness of people who simply wanted to do something good.

And that, perhaps, is what made it special.

To everyone who helped us make this possible—whether you helped with the planning, logistics, preparations, donations, or simply showed up—thank you.

You may not realize it, but you were part of every smile we saw yesterday.

And to Ma’am Deza, thank you for your unwavering trust and support. Thank you for believing in this initiative and for giving us the opportunity to serve and connect with the community.

Happy birthday, Ma’am! 🎂 May God continue to bless you and your family, and may you continue to be a blessing to many.

We came to Tuburan with something to give. But somehow, we left with so much more.

We left with full hearts, grateful memories, and the reminder that sometimes, the smallest gestures can leave the biggest impact.❤️❤️❤️

It’s been an incredible year for the CMGorz family, and one of the milestones we’ll always be proud of is the successful inaugural Tuburan 360 Trail Run 2026 last April.

None of it would have been possible without the support, warmth, and hospitality of the people of Tuburan. The local communities welcomed us, supported the race, and became a huge part of what made the event truly meaningful.

Now, it’s our turn to give back.

This August 30–31, 2026, the CMGorz team will hold our first-ever outreach program, bringing school supplies and essential learning materials to children across the communities of Tuburan. 🎒✏️📚

Under this year’s theme, “Bright Futures, Bright Dreams,” we hope to put a little more joy into the hands of our young learners and remind them that their dreams are worth pursuing.

We believe that education opens doors, and our children are the future of our community. Every notebook, pencil, school bag, and simple act of kindness can be a small step toward a brighter future.

This is more than just giving away school supplies.
It’s our way of saying thank you, Tuburan.
Thank you for welcoming us.

Thank you for supporting us.

And thank you for being part of our journey.

Here’s to giving back, creating meaningful connections, and helping our kids dream a little bigger. 🌟

🏔️🔥 GORZ AT CEBU CITY TRAILFEST – PAMUTAN ULTRA! 🔥🏔️

What. A. Weekend! 🥂

The GORZ Team showed up, showed out, and delivered an incredible 100% FINISH RATE! 🏁💯 From our youngest GORZ warrior in the 2KM Kids Category, Ria Casinillo, to our 15KM Blazers, 30KM Warriors, and legendary 50KM finishers—every single one crossed that finish line! 🔥

A special CONGRATULATIONS to Motet Fernandez for bagging 2nd Place in his age category! 🥈👏 What an awesome achievement!

But this victory wasn't just about the runners. Behind every finish was a team that kept the fire burning. ❤️‍🔥

Huge shoutout to our amazing Support Team— Janice Lyn, Cathy, Nancy, and Marjurie, for making sure our runners were nourished, hydrated, and taken care of during and after the race. 🥤🍌💪

Big thanks to Choy Magsambol for manning the 4th Tower Aid Station and holding the fort when our warriors needed that extra boost. 🙌

And of course, what is an event without GORZ ENERGY?! 🔥🎤

Our dynamic and absolutely unstoppable emcee duo, Al Fie and Cybele Carbonilla Guillermo, kept the event alive, loud, and full of good vibes! 🎉⚡ You guys were phenomenal!

From the first step to the final finish, this was TEAM GORZ at its finest; grit, camaraderie, crazy energy, and an unwavering love for the mountains. 🏔️❤️

Well, well, well!... it looks like the GORZ tribe is showing up in full force this weekend! 🔥

From the 2km kids little warrior to the 15Km grinders, the 30Km mountain hunters, and the fearless souls taking on the brutal 50Km challenge, almost everyone is gearing up for one of the most anticipated trail races of the year — The Cebu City Trailfest: Pamutan Ultra 2026! ⛰️🐂

This is more than just another race. It's another opportunity to test our limits, embrace the suffering, celebrate the climb, and create memories on the trails together.

Crazy Mountain Gorz Trail Recon Weekend

Last weekend, under the blazing sun, the Crazy Mountain Gorz team took to the trails with unstoppable energy as they prepare for the upcoming Cebu City Trail Fest – Pamutan 2026 on August 22–23. Despite the hot conditions, the group found joy and relief in the rivers they crossed, making the recon both challenging and memorable.

30KM Full Route Recon (Sunday)
Bryan, Geofy, and Bryce completed the entire 30KM course, showcasing endurance and determination that will surely carry them through race day.

22KM Recon for 30KM Category (Sunday)
Bern, Motet, Regena, Pogi, Cathy, Brandon, Janelle, Sanie, and Yanni covered 22KM of the 30KM route. Their teamwork and resilience turned the demanding distance into an inspiring display of trail camaraderie.

22KM Recon for 50KM Category (Saturday)
Edlap, Hazel, Darell, and Yanni braved the 22KM stretch of the 50KM course. Their effort reflected the grit required for the ultra challenge ahead.

New Segment Recon for 50KM Category (Monday)
Even after a full weekend of trail action, Lonie and Geofy pushed further by exploring the new segment of the 50KM course early Monday. Despite Lonie not feeling well, her perseverance alongside Geofy showed the kind of determination that defines Crazy Mountain Gorz.

The weekend recon was more than just mileage—it was a test of strength, a celebration of friendship, and a reminder of the beauty of Pamutan’s trails. The rivers offered a refreshing break from the heat, adding to the joy of the journey.

With the Cebu City Trail Fest fast approaching, Crazy Mountain Gorz is proving that preparation is as thrilling as race day itself. The countdown to August 22–23 is on, and the team is ready to rise to the challenge.
