β™ŸοΈ MNHS CHESS CLUB | SUCCESSFUL CLUB MEETING β™ŸοΈ
πŸ“ Computer Laboratory (ComLab)
πŸ“… A Day of Leadership, Teamwork, and Chess!

What a successful and memorable day for the MNHS Chess Club! β™ŸοΈβœ¨

We are proud to share that the MNHS Chess Club successfully conducted its club meeting at the Computer Laboratory (ComLab). This gathering was more than just a meetingβ€”it was an opportunity for our officers and members to come together, strengthen our teamwork, discuss our goals, and prepare ourselves for the exciting activities ahead.

From the opening prayer, inspiring messages, technical preparations, presentations, officers' ordination, and closing prayer, every part of the program was made possible through the cooperation, dedication, and hard work of our officers, coach, staff, and members.

A successful program is never the work of only one person. Behind every smooth presentation, every announcement, every slide, and every moment of the program are people who willingly shared their time, skills, and effort. For this reason, the MNHS Chess Club would like to give our heartfelt appreciation and credits to the following individuals:

🌟 TO OUR STAFF & EVERYONE WHO HELPED
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

We would also like to extend our appreciation to the other teachers, staff members, and everyone who contributed to the success of our meeting.

Whether you helped directly with the program or supported us behind the scenes, THANK YOU! Your assistance, cooperation, and encouragement are greatly appreciated.

A successful club is built not only by its officers but by the people who work together toward a common goal. This meeting reminded us that teamwork, responsibility, leadership, and cooperation are just as important as the game of chess itself.

β™ŸοΈ CHESS IS MORE THAN A GAME.
It teaches us to think before we move, to plan ahead, to recognize opportunities, to learn from mistakes, and most importantly, to work together toward a goal.

As the MNHS Chess Club, may we continue to develop not only our skills on the chessboard but also our leadership, discipline, friendship, and sportsmanship.

Once again, congratulations to everyone who contributed to the successful meeting! πŸŽ‰πŸ‘

One club. One team. One goal.
β™ŸοΈ Mabuhay ang MNHS Chess Club! β™ŸοΈ

Think ahead. Make your move. Checkmate! β™ŸοΈπŸ‘‘

Not every win comes with a medal.
Some wins come with gravy. πŸ˜ŒπŸ—

Today the Knightmares aren’t just clapping from the bleachers β€” we’re **rejoicing in Jollibee** for our Tri-Meet player who gave their absolute best.

You trained early. You pushed through. You played with heart. And you made the whole Knightmares community proud. πŸ’™

So let’s eat, laugh, and celebrate YOU. Because effort like yours deserves more than applause β€” it deserves a 2-piece meal.

To our Knightmare: Thank you. We see you. We’re behind you. Always. βš”οΈ

YELLOW JAGUARS, PINK PANTHER RULE THE CHESSBOARDS AT MNHS INTRAMURALS 2026

July 16, 2026 β€” The chessboards belonged to the Grade 8 – Yellow Jaguars and the Grade 12 – Pink Panther as they captured championship titles in their respective divisions during the MNHS Intramurals Chess Competition.

Leading the spotlight, the Grade 8 – Yellow Jaguars represented by Muckie Manligro dominated the Boys Board 1 category with a perfect 5-win, 0-loss record. Competing against players from Grade 7 to Grade 12, he remained undefeated throughout the tournament, displaying exceptional strategy, confidence, and consistency to secure the championship.

In the Boys Board 2 category, the Grade 12 – Pink Panther represented by Judell Batahoy, also delivered a championship performance, finishing with 4 wins and 1 draw against competitors from Grade 7 to Grade 12. His composed play, tactical precision, and resilience earned him the coveted title.

The outstanding performances of both teams highlighted the depth of chess talent at MNHS, proving that preparation, discipline, and determination are the keys to success. Their championship victories stand as a proud achievement in this year's intramural games and an inspiration to fellow student-athletes.

Congratulations, CHAMPIONS! β™ŸοΈπŸ₯‡πŸŽ‰

πŸŽ‰ Knightmares Make Waves at the Cluster Meet! πŸŽ‰

What a fantastic way to kick off 2025! Our Knightmares came out strong at the cluster meet in La Filipina National High School last January 3-4, and we couldn’t be prouder of the effort put in by our team! Out of our 4 members, a special shoutout goes to Zhian Rile Omandac, who absolutely crushed it and snagged a spot to qualify for the Tagum City Athletic Association Meet (TCAA)! πŸ™ŒπŸ’₯

Zhian, you’ve shown what hard work and heart can do – we're all behind you as you take on the next challenge. The whole team is pumped and ready for what’s ahead! Keep it up, Knightmares – this is just the beginning! πŸ’ͺπŸ”₯
