Tagum Palmeras Rugby Football Club

29/09/2026

Hello everyone!

We are The Palmeras Rugby Football Club, a developing rugby team composed of passionate athletes from Tagum City and Davao del Norte, committed to promoting rugby and developing local athletic talent through sports. We are also officially recognized by the Local Government Unit of Tagum City through the Tagum City Youth and Sports Development Office as a sports organization with registration number TSR-2026-03012.

We have recently participated in tournaments in Mati City (Mati 7s) and Davao City (Haring Agila Cup), marking our team’s 2nd full-contact competition. Our participation has gained valuable experience and exposure in competitive rugby.

At present, we are actively preparing for another upcoming tournament, one of the most renowned rugby tournaments in the Philippines, The Cebu 11s Rugby Festival at Cebu City on November 14, 2026. As a growing team, most of our players are self-funded athletes and in line with this, we humbly seek your support through financial assistance to help us cover essential expenses for the said tournament.

Your generous support will greatly help 17 dedicated athletes in the following areas:

1. Tournament Registration
2. Transportation (Air Fare)
3. Tournament Accommodation
4. Meals and Hydration
5. Training Equipment
6. Tournament Jerseys and Training Kits
7. Player Safety (Insurance Coverages)

Should you wish to help support our team make it to Cebu, please transfer your help to our Team Manager, Mr. Nhurkin Gadiaware and his attached QRs provided. Please send a screenshot copy of the proof of transfer to our page/messenger so we can send you an acknowledgement letter.

We believe that your support will not only contribute to our team’s growth but also help promote sports development and youth engagement in our community.

Thank you very much!

Back to Work. Eyes on Cebu!

After the unfortunate cancellation of the Kadayawan Blitz, the team is shifting its focus on the upcoming Cebu 11s Rugby Festival happening on November 14 in Cebu City.

With the clock ticking, the team is putting in the hard work, building fitness, sharpening skilss, strengthening teamwork, and preparing for the challenges ahead. Every training session is a step closer to being tournament ready.

The setback may have changed the plan, but it hasn’t changed our determination.

Train hard. Stay focused. Represent with pride.
