Pokémon was always my favorite game growing up so I felt inspired yesterday to create something that felt warm, fun, and exciting with my favorite starter Pokémon Bulbasaur! This is his second evolution Ivysaur before his third and final form.
If I don’t enjoy playing video games may as well make them come to life in 3d!

So I’ve been receiving a lot of messages on twitter and Instagram about how I make my work looks so good. So I figured this would be a good time to explain everything. Nothing ever comes easy and the only way to get better with your craft is with repetition!

The 1st frame was from 10 or so months ago when I first jumped into c4d I had no clue where to start or what to even make. But I kept at it and continued to learn a lot of this stuff on my own at that time with the help of instructors.
2nd style frame was from about 7 months ago. After trial and error multiple times and feeling like I wasn’t making progression I came up with a cool concept at the time and just went at it until I was satisfied with the results for what I knew.
The 3rd style frame was about a month and a half or two ago when I had the amazing opportunity to freelance with a high school in Texas. My work was taking notice and I felt a lot more comfortable of being able to produce high quality work in an efficient time frame.
The last frame was very recent. Having being in 3d classes and the continuous late nights up to this point I gave myself only 8 hours to make a style frame and animate.
With this all being said nothing will come easy and it will feel challenging and you may feel like you haven’t made progress. But trust me you have and if you keep at it it will show in your work!
