Happy National Introverts Week! (Though if you're seeing this later, every week can be Introverts Week for you!) Let’s celebrate the unique strengths and qualities of introverts.

(But first, I have a series of “Loving Kindness” meditations, which can help introverts and extraverts alike feel more connected with others and content with themselves. DM me or respond "yes" in the comments if you want free access!)

So, being an introvert isn't just about being quiet; it's a distinct way of interacting with the world, often marked by deep thought, introspection, and a rich inner life. This week, let's focus on understanding introversion, particularly in terms of managing stress and enhancing productivity, backed by research and tailored for the introverted temperament.

Here are some self-care strategies for introverts:

* Plan Your Day Around Your Energy Levels: Tackle demanding tasks during your peak energy times.

* Seek Understanding Environments: Surround yourself with people who understand and respect your introverted nature.

Last week, I had the privilege and the honor of speaking about "Embracing Diversity and Inclusion: Getting to the Heart of the Matter" to a group of academic leaders from APEC Schools. My goals for the session was for them to walk away with:

💡Spark insight and A-Ha moments related to Diversity and Inclusion
🦁Be more courageous in having conversations around DEI and being more inclusive
🤝Enhance awareness and understanding that ultimately leads to respect for all

The response was incredible, and I'm thrilled to share some of the most valuable takeaways from our audience.

1️⃣ "Understanding and promoting diversity and inclusion is a skill everyone should have." 🤝🌍

2️⃣ "The talk enabled me to connect with my other self. The self that I conceal. It made me more courageous with being vulnerable and accepting who I am." 🙌❤️

3️⃣ "We all live in a community with diverse groups of people. What we need is to understand them and, of course, acceptance." 🤗🌈

4️⃣ "I would tell our Program Lead to have this talk for our homeschoolers; they badly need this." 📚🏡

5️⃣ "Diversity is acknowledging and celebrating differences, and inclusion is making everyone welcome and appreciated." 🎉🤗

6️⃣ My Personal Takeaways:
📌Conflict arises from the collision of personalities and beliefs that we don’t see
📌 DEI calls for courage and humility -of trying to correct our ways even if we are met with corrections and failures.
📌Knowing another person beyond what is seen is the first step in embracing our differences.

📢 Attention, friends! 🌼✨

Check out this quote I stumbled upon: "Run from people who love drama or they will put you in one of their episodes." 🏃‍♀️💨

Let's take a moment to reflect on the significance of surrounding ourselves with positive influences and steering clear of drama-loving individuals. Drama can be draining and toxic, and those who thrive on it have a knack for dragging others into their whirlwind of chaos. 🌪️

But guess what? We deserve better! Our lives should be filled with support, growth, and empowerment. 🌻💪

By intentionally distancing ourselves from drama enthusiasts, we create space for nurturing relationships that uplift us, inspire us, and fuel our personal development. We deserve to be part of narratives that empower us, not those that bring unnecessary turmoil into our lives. 💫🌈

Are you still wondering why you need a coach?

Here are 6 reasons why you should hire a coach.

I was invited by Daynes S. Limson , the Vocational Chair of the Rotary Club of QC MediaTech to conduct a Coaching 101 Workshop, last July 9th, (Saturday.)

It was an interactive session with attendees from the RCQC Mediatech’s adopted school, Jose Maria Panganiban Senior High School, and their adopted barangay, Brgy. Gulod, Novaliches.

The workshop I conducted briefly covered the definition of Happiness versus Life Satisfaction, a brief overview of what I do as a coach, and what makes up a Balanced Life. The attendees were engaged, highly participative, and had kind words for me and the workshop I conducted! See their comments for yourself!

This workshop further reinforced that Coaching is not just a job or a business for me; it’s my “occu-passion.” I am fortunate that I have a job/business that I am passionate about, which also gives me a purpose and meaning.
