NATIONAL NEWS—Lasallian athletes representing Abanse Negrense, Adah Keira Gorriceta of STEM 11-L and Steffi Bernice Sarrosa of STEM 11-G, bagged silver medals in the Juniors Women’s Kumite of the recently concluded Karate Pilipinas National Championships held at the Tagaytay Combat Sports Center from Feb. 28–Mar. 2.

This achievement secured their rank as second in the national standings and earned them a spot to compete in the Southeast Asian Karatedo Federation in Brunei.

Moreover, Daniel Ian Tabujara from ABM 11-D claimed bronze in Junior’s Men’s Kumite, securing the #3 national rank, while Tyler Dean Thompson from 10-C, Ken Cordero from STEM 12-A, Xian Tabujara from 6-C, and Denisse Martina Atesora from STEM 11-H also represented the team under the guidance of coaches Charles Rodriguez, Cherry Rodriguez, and Romy Lisondra.
