The Bureau of Fire Protection Region 8, under the leadership of Regional Director, FCSUPT ALDWIN M SALAZAR, DSC warmly congratulates BFP Rehiyon Otso's pride, FO1 Ralph Jurec Alvior for clinching the gold medal in the Toughest Firefighter Male Individual Category at the recently held 2026 National Fire Olympics in Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental.

The Toughest Firefighter Challenge is one of the most demanding events of the competition, testing a firefighterโ€™s overall strength, endurance, agility, and presence of mind through a series of grueling, real-world firefighting tasks performed under time pressure. Rising above all competitors, FO1 Alvior demonstrated exceptional resilience, skill, and determination worthy of the title.
