ΣΛ𝚽 Fraternity & Sorority
Chapter: Beta Kappa Chapter
Alma Mater: Naval Institute of Technology (now Biliran Province State University)
Year Survived: 1978
Honoring Brod. Reginaldo Sanosa, a dedicated Lambdan whose journey in ΣΛΦ began in 1978 when he was 19 years old.
During his student days in Naval, there were only two fraternities recognized on campus, and Sigma Lambda Phi stood among them as a respected organization known for its strong presence and active involvement in school and community activities.
For Brod. Reginaldo, being a Lambdan is more than membership—it is something that must come from the heart.
His journey reflects leadership, commitment, and service.
During his college years, he served as:
• Grand Chancellor for three years
• Supreme Student Council President
• CMT Corps Commander
One of his proudest contributions was helping register Sigma Lambda Phi in their school, making it officially recognized and strengthening its foundation for future generations of Lambdans.
Throughout his years as a student leader, he actively participated in social, civic, and community service activities, embodying the ideals of Sigma Lambda Phi both inside and outside the campus.
Today, he continues to serve as an Alumni Adviser. After leaving in 1984 and returning in 2017, he observed many changes through the years. While he acknowledges that times are different and resources may not be the same, his hope remains that younger Lambdans will continue to nurture the passion, unity, and commitment that helped build the organization.
For the younger generation, his message is simple:
“Be a member by heart. Isa-puso ang pagiging Lambdan at panatilihin ang init ng samahan.”
