Below is the List of Qualified Applicants for the Project iSKolar: Educational Assistance Program of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. San Bartolome, Sta. Magdalena, Sorsogon.

Barangay San Bartolome's Sangguniang Kabataan acknowledges the value of education in empowering young people and creating a forward-thinking community. The Project iSKolar: Educational Assistance Program was created to assist worthy and economically disadvantaged students with educational costs, including school materials, projects, and other academic requirements. The objectives of this program are to motivate students to pursue further education, enhance their academic standing, and take an active role in community development.
Through this program, the SK of San Bartolome underlines its dedication to providing inclusive and easily available educational support for the future of its young people.

For applicants who have a corresponding reccomendation, please settle the concern on or before the scheduled payout. And for those who cannot personally claim their cash assistance, a representative may claim it provided that he/she has an authorization letter signed by the recepient/beneficiary of the program.

Take note: The number of grantees are the only one who submitted their requirements on time. Failure to submit during the given period of time aren’t the council concern anymore.

📝 QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a bonafide resident of Barangay San Bartolome.
- Must be enrolled in any private or public colleges.
- With atleast 2.5 GWA (With no failing grades)
- One (1) student per family.

📋 REQUIREMENTS:
✅ 2 duly accomplished application form
✅ 2 copies Certificate of Enrollment for the 1st Semester of S.Y 2025-2026
✅ 2 copies of the Certificate of Grades from 1st year 1st semester up to 3rd year 2nd semester.
✅ 2 copies School ID.
✅ 2 certified True Copy of the Statement of Account/White Form for those enrolled in private colleges.
✅ 2 Barangay Certificate of Indigency.
✅ 2 copies of duly registered KK Form

This film, which is part of the Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) of Sta. Magdalena's efforts to raise awareness about drug prevention, is titled "Kwento ng Pag-asa, Kwento ng Pag-iwas sa Droga." Serving delicious meal, we blended generosity with tradition, ensuring every child felt the love and abundance of fiesta. Through this act of pamayanan (community), we honored our town’s patron and planted hope for our future leaders—proving that sharing food is sharing joy! 🍲❤️
After the feast, laughter filled the air as students embraced Laro ng Lahi! From sack races and Chinese garter to dodgeball, “bring me,” and calamansi relay, these timeless games bridged generations and reignited pride in our cultural roots. More than just play, these activities reminded us that fiesta is a living thread connecting past and present.

This year’s celebration wasn’t just about tradition it was about nurturing youth, health, and unity. A heartfelt salamat to everyone who made this day possible! Together, we’re preserving Talaongan’s fiesta legacy, one meal, one game, and one smile at a time.

Hats off to the talented Talaonganos who showcased their exceptional buri crafting skills! 🎨

The recent buri craft making contest last Aug. 17, 2025 was a resounding success, with participants creating and proving their abilities that highlighted the beauty of this traditional Talaonganon craft.

From intricately cutted Buri leaves to beautifully designed hats, the creativity and skill displayed by the male participants were truly impressive. Each piece was a testament to the artisans' patience and dedication to their craft, showcasing the versatility of buri as a material.

A huge congratulations to all the winners and participants who made this contest a memorable one! 🎉
