Positioning is where you place yourself on the pitch to help your team.
Good positioning allows you to:
✅ Receive the ball more often.
✅ Defend more effectively.
✅ Create space.

🧠 1️⃣ POSITION YOURSELF BEFORE THE BALL ARRIVES
The biggest mistake many young players make is reacting after the pass is played.
Elite players move before the ball gets there.
They're already in space before anyone notices it.
Football rewards anticipation.

Don't follow the crowd.
If three teammates are standing in one area...
Move somewhere else.
Space is your best friend.
