THANK YOU, CCSJDM ATHLETICS!

City College of San Jose del Monte (CCSJDM) athletes showed determination and sportsmanship during the Athletics - Field and Throwing Events of the 14th Local Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (LCUAA) National Games, held on October 21, Tuesday, at the CCSJDM grounds.

Representing CCSJDM, Mark Doren and Claro Mae Obligado both competed in the javelin throw, each landing in 11th place with best throws of 28.32 meters and 12.64 meters, respectively. In the long jump, Emmanuel Jade Eugenio recorded a leap of 4.54 meters, while Alexie Navarette achieved 3.71 meters. For the shot put, Rhogean Mondejar marked his best distance at 6.93 meters, finishing in 12th place.

Though they fell short of podium finishes, each athlete proudly carried CCSJDM’s spirit of perseverance, teamwork, and pride throughout the competition.

The wait is nearly over as 27 Local Colleges and Universities across the country come together to celebrate unity, sportsmanship, and excellence in the 14th LCUAA National Games. Hosted by the City College of San Jose Del Monte, this year’s national event promises a week filled with thrilling competition, camaraderie, and the relentless pursuit of victory.

From the adrenaline of basketball and volleyball to the grace of dance sport and the discipline of martial arts, the Games will feature 20 sporting events that embody the spirit of determination, teamwork, and pride among student-athletes.

As we gather once more under the banner of “Enduring, Empowering, and Exalting,” we celebrate not only the champions who rise but every athlete who dares to strive, persevere, and inspire.
