Today, the school community of Holy Cross of Babak, Inc. has been confronted with a serious concern that has recently affected communities across the country.
A social media post containing a shooting threat, made through a dummy account, has been circulated online. In response, the school immediately reported the matter to the local authorities. Following the notification of parents and guardians, students were dismissed as a precautionary measure.
The matter is now being handled and is under investigation by the proper authorities.
In line with this, the School Administration of Holy Cross of Babak, Inc. respectfully appeals to the general public to refrain from spreading false or unverified information that may cause unnecessary fear and panic. We ask everyone to remain calm and vigilant while waiting for official announcements from the school and the proper authorities.
