RFF prevails a rough and physical do-or-die semifinals battle against archrival Brick City, 111–107, to keep their undefeated streak alive!
Despite having their usual twice-to-beat advantage taken away, RFF never gave up. Carl Bormate’s early blocks and threes kept the team in it, Mike Allen Lonosa attacked relentlessly, Jiro Arizobal sparked fast breaks, and John Patrick Nonato’s defense made a huge difference all game before sealing it late with a clutch jumper and free throws.
Gian Carl Deimos broke out of his shooting slump with big threes to earn Player of the Game honors—but according to Head Coach Apollo Rimando, Lonosa, Arizobal, and Deimos all played like POGs with their relentlessness and heart.
