From late-apex comebacks to pure lights-to-flag dominance, AF Racing fought hard in Online Round 3 of the AAP National Esports Championship! Seb Garcia battled back after a tough Lap 1 turn at Batangas to lock in a strong P4 in his Miata, while Johann Villena showed incredible grit, returning fresh off a hospital stay for influenza to charge from last place and sn**ch P4 at Monza with a daring dive bomb 4 laps from the chequered flag.

Meanwhile, Gerald Garcia delivered an absolute masterclass at Portimao, grinding out a massive 13-second win after putting in 3 to 4 hours of daily LMU training. Big thanks to AAP and Dominado E-Motorsports for hosting, and congratulations to all the winners!

The AAP E-Motorsports Endurance Challenge has wrapped up Round 2, but the racing is far from over. 🏁

Round 2 brought sim racers, female racing talents, motorsport media, and digital creators together at Korsa Pitstop Cafe for a day of close virtual racing and intense competition.

The action continues on November 28 as Round 3 returns to Korsa Pitstop Cafe, featuring more simulator challenges, giveaways, and an expanded viewing experience for fans and media.

🏁 TRYOUTS WRAPPED ACROSS GR DEALERSHIPS! 🏎️💨

What a finish to the qualifying weekend for the Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines Esports GT Championship!

Our squad was in action across two locations this weekend! Massive thanks to Toyota Silang, Cavite for hosting Alenie and Edward on Saturday as they gave it their absolute best on the rigs, and to Toyota Alabang for keeping their doors open and accommodating us on Sunday! 🙌

Our AF Racing boys pushed hard on the track, with Johann Villena and Gerald Garcia holding Top 10 positions on the Toyota Alabang leaderboard! Johann put down sharp laps in the Junior Class, while Gerald set the pace in the Sporting Class. Shoutout as well to Sebastian Garcia for fighting hard in the Junior Class during the final sessions.

🚨 Now we wait as Toyota Motor Philippines compiles all venue and online times across the country. Based on their official criteria, TMP will proclaim those who will advance to compete live at the National Finals on September 27 at the SMX Convention Center! 🤞

🏆 BACK-TO-BACK P3 AT THE AAP ENDURANCE RACE ROUND 2! 🏆

What a wild ride! Led by Team Captain Edward and Sir Paul on strategy, our crew pulled off another hard-fought P3 finish in Round 2. From Johann qualifying P3 and pushing up to P2 early on, to Alenie battling severe tire degradation over a 40-minute stint, Seb Garcia reclaiming P3 with a wild overtake around the outside, and Gerald Garcia miraculously nursing a damaged gearbox while chasing P1, every driver gave it everything. Even after dropping to P4 from losing 30+ seconds over our pit idle time budget, Johann’s relentless final chase kept the pressure sky-high, forcing an overstint penalty on the team ahead to officially secure our P3 spot! 🏁
