Happy New Year 🥂✨

Another year closed, another one opening its doors. And honestly, this moment always feels a little heavy and a little hopeful at the same time. We survived things we never posted about.

We learned lessons we didn’t ask for. We lost people, habits, versions of ourselves that no longer fit. Pero nandito pa rin tayo. Still standing. Still trying. Still choosing to hope kahit minsan pagod na pagod na.

This year taught us that growth isn’t always loud. Sometimes it looks like choosing rest. Sometimes it looks like walking away. Sometimes it looks like staying kahit mahirap.

Wag mong hayaang matapos ang taon na parang another 12 months passed without you moving toward the life you’ve always wanted.

And for a long time, I didn’t understand that.

I kept waiting for something to change. I kept hoping for a sign, an opportunity, a lucky break.

Pero habang naghihintay ako, wala namang nangyayari.

I was stuck in the same place, living the same routines, feeling the same frustrations.

One day, it hit me.

Totoo naman, hindi sapat ang gusto lang. Kailangan sabayan ng gawa, ng tiyaga, at ng lakas ng loob.

There were days I prayed for change without moving.

Days when I kept saying one day things will get better, but I wasn’t doing anything to make that one day happen.

And maybe you’ve been there too.

Yung tipong pagod ka na, pero hindi mo alam kung saan magsisimula. Yung gusto mo ng pagbabago, pero natatakot ka sa proseso. But little by little, life taught me something important.

Kung gaano kalaki ang pangarap mo, ganun kalaki dapat ang effort mo.

Every step you take may feel slow, but it still moves you forward.
