Paul Gerald Reguera has always been an athlete at heart. From childhood courts to national and international competitions, his name has stood for excellence. But this year, his story deepened. Amid the demands of public service at the National Bureau of Investigation, coaching and playing for the NBI, DOJ, and Philippine basketball teams, and competing in shooting tournaments, Paul faced a quiet fear, graduating from law school.

It wasnโ€™t just about earning his Juris Doctor degree โ€” it was about proving to himself that discipline could carry him through the chaos. And he did. With humility and quiet strength, Paul crossed the finish line, showing that even the busiest lives can make room for growth, learning, and legacy.

Masters Pinoy Pilipinas Basketball has resumed training at NU Nazareth, Sampaloc, as the team gears up for the upcoming Guam 45Up USA Basketball Tournament.

The team enters camp fresh from its golden run at the World Masters Games in Taiwan last May, where they dominated the Menโ€™s Basketball 45Up Premier Division to capture the championship.

Present at the first session were veterans Roger Yap, Estong Ballesteros, Mong Basco, Rendell Dela Rea, Milo Bonifacio, Edwin Manabat, and Arvin Aguila, along with new additions Erwin Sta. Maria, Chris De Jesus, Popoy Banzali, and Adrian Alebin.

Absent due to prior league games were Paul Reguera, Arden Guiyab, Edrick Ferrer, and Gui Nabung.

Present as well in the practice is Mario Barasi Jr., the PBA Rookie Draftโ€™s second-round top pick and 13th overall selection.
