One of the things I truly admire about us Filipinos is our ability to find joy even in the toughest situations. I’ll never forget the time during Typhoon Ondoy when I had to trek from Feria,Quezon City, all the way back to my home in Bagong silang caloocan city, navigating through the high floods. It was challenging, but we managed to turn it into an adventure! I did my best to entertain my colleagues along the way to lighten the mood, and we even imagined it as a “sagala” or “early pinitensya.”

As we face challenges, let’s remember to stay safe and dry, everyone! 🏡 If possible, please stay at home and take this opportunity to bond with your family 👪 or indulge in some much-needed self-care. Sending hugs your way! 🤗😚
