We made it to the Round of 16 of the Gov’s Cup Volleyball D-League Season 2! 🏐

This milestone proves that volleyball in our town is alive, growing, and a true force to be reckoned with on the provincial stage.

Earlier this morning, we got our sweet revenge against Calape in a do-or-die match, making up for last year's heartbreaking upset.

Later this afternoon, we went up against our neighboring friends from Inabanga for the top spot in Zone B. They played a phenomenal game and ultimately outplayed us, but our team put up a fierce fight until the very end.

Danao finishes the group stage at Rank 2 in Zone B with a 2–1 record, leaving behind six other competitive teams!

Championship title successfully reclaimed! 🏐🔥

Cabatuan pulled off an incredible victory against the defending champions, Remedios, in a heated finals match during the 3rd Municipal LNK Inter-Barangay Volleyball Tournament (Women’s Division) held at the Poblacion multipurpose court!

You could feel the eagerness and the sheer grit of a team so hungry to take the crown back, but the defending champions didn't make it easy. They fought fiercely until the very last whistle—recording a jaw-dropping 20 deadlocks throughout the finals! What a game indeed!

Final results:
🏆 Champion: Brgy. Cabatuan
🥈2nd placer: Brgy. Remedios
🥉3rd placer: Brgy. Hibale
4th placer: Brgy. Poblacion

Back-to-back champions! 🏐🔥

Poblacion 2 has officially done it again, defending their crown and taking home the title at the 3rd Municipal LNK Inter-Barangay Volleyball Tournament (Men’s Division) held at the Danao New Gymnasium!

It was an intense championship battle against their co-team, Poblacion 1, capping off a dominant run where they swept the competition straight from the round-robin eliminations all the way to the finals.

What a proud moment for the DVC women’s team! Congratulations for bringing home the championship title in the Brgy. Tabok Volleyball Open Tournament after an intense battle against BCC! 🏆👏🏻

We might not get to practice together as often as we'd like, but the moment we step onto the court, every single one of us gives our all.

First game, first win! 👏🏻🫶🏻

What a match! Congratulations to Danao for taking the victory against Sagbayan in a thrilling 3-set battle (25–21, 18–25, 25–23) during the Governor’s Cup Volleyball D-League Season 2 at the Tubigon Cultural Center, Bohol.

Despite a few unexpected bumps along the way, the team is deeply grateful for all the love and support. We couldn’t have made it this far also without the support of our fellow Danaonons who believe in us!
