𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: LNU Golden Falcons’ Mary Nicole Castañas hauls first gold medal for the Falcons’ taekwondo team after topping the final round of the Poomsae Individual Female category with a score of 8.06 at the LNU HRDC Multipurpose Hall.

In an interview, Castañas reflects on her last RSCUAA Games stint where she fell short of a medal, saying she is happy to finally secure a win despite the change in category.

“An akon ginmulay dati Sparring and yana nga year bumalhin ako ha Poomsae. Makulba kay last year nga Regional SCUAA iba tapos bumalhin ak and nanibago nak lawas. Yana happy ak ngan waray ko na mayayakan,” she expressed.

Completing the set of winners are BIPSU Tigers’ Baguilod and ESSU Praying Mantises’ Ramirez who settled for silver and bronze, respectively.
