We're excited to share that the Dayou team had a productive meeting with the San Juan City Sports Development Office, together with Sports Development Officer Rhym Dela Cruz, to discuss potential opportunities for collaboration in advancing grassroots sports through technology.

Our discussion centered on how digital innovation can help strengthen sports programs, improve league and tournament management, and create more accessible opportunities for athletes, organizers, and communities.

We sincerely thank the San Juan City Sports Development Office and Mr. Rhym Dela Cruz for the warm welcome and for taking the time to explore how we can work together. We look forward to the possibilities ahead and to supporting the city's vision of making sports more organized, inclusive, and impactful.

This is another meaningful step toward our mission of building the digital infrastructure that empowers Philippine grassroots sports.

Dayou set to re-imagine Philippine basketball in the digital era

For a basketball-loving country, there's no miss in playing basketball. From streets to courts, they are games, practices and leagues everywhere but it is digitally fragmented.

But with the new DAYOU app, Pinoy basketball players, and even league organizers will have access to everything from renting and schedule courts, operating leagues and even track performance of your favorite players.

Named after the word Dayo or Away, Dayou will set to make its mark into the world of digital era, and breaking all the long-standing traditions including court owners using Messenger to schedule games, and even leagues write on their own scoresheets.

"Initially we started as a basketball court booking platform and team management tool and upon early discussion and engagements with stakeholders, court booking was never a problem kasi yung mga owners, okay naman sila sa operations at marketing. Ang napansin namin mas malaki ang problema, kailangang mas ma-itransform into some ambitious.", said Chuckie Isaac de Leon, founder of Dayou app.

Dayou offers court operating system, league operating system, national player marketplace, basketball data and transaction layer and sports fintech layer to benefit players, leagues, and even fans as well.

"We designed to become the operating system for grassroots sports development. Probably, the first and most comprehensive platform in the country right now.", he added.

They also plans to expand into other sports such as volleyball and pickleball as well as coordinating with different organizations cater to sports development.

"Ang objective namin at strategic direction is to partner with the federation and organization-level specificially for sports development. And likewise, kung mabibigyan kami ng pagkakaroon to partner with these players ecosystem, pi-penetrate ang barangay court in the LGU level, in which timbre po.", De Leon echoed.
