Week 5 Hoops Basketball Tournament 2024 Game Recap

The Black Team emerged victorious against the Blue Team, showcasing their dominance with a high-energy, run-and-gun style of play. Despite their depleted lineup, the Blue Team’s resilience was commendable as they fought valiantly until the final buzzer. Danilo Jr. Malana led the scoring for the Black Team with 12 points, contributing to a total team effort that proved too much for the Blue Team to handle. Week 3 of the Hoops Basketball Tournament brought the heat to the hardwood as teams clashed in a showcase of skill, strategy, and sheer willpower.

The continuation of the Blue vs. Gold game was a testament to the tenacity of the players, with Gold holding a precarious 10-point lead as the clock ticked down. Brendan Garcia, the heart of the Blue team, shouldered the burden of a depleted roster, fighting valiantly to close the gap. However, the defensive prowess of Jeremiah Hidalgo and Welkins Cruiser Gemota proved insurmountable, securing a narrow victory for Gold with a final score of 58-54. Best player of the game is Welkins Cruiser Gemota with 19 points.

The second game was a titanic clash of the undefeated, pitting Gold against Purple in a back-and-forth battle that had fans on the edge of their seats. Lead changes were as frequent as the cheers of the crowd, but it was the Purple team, led by the unstoppable John Leo Fundemera and his impressive 25-point haul, who emerged victorious. Hoops Basketball Tournament Week #3 Recap



Game 1: Black Team vs. Green Team

The Black Team capitalized on the Green Team’s depleted roster, as several key players were absent. From the opening tip-off, the Black Team set a relentless pace, maintaining their lead throughout the game. It was an overall team effort for the Black team but Kristian Macaspac was the standout performer, scoring 17 points and driving his team to a decisive victory. Despite the Green Team’s valiant effort, their limited lineup couldn’t match the Black Team’s intensity and depth.



Game 2: Gold Team vs. Blue Team

In a game that was abruptly halted, the Gold Team held a 10-point lead over the Blue Team with 8 minutes left on the clock. The match will resume at a later date, leaving fans on the edge of their seats. Can the Blue Team rally and overcome the deficit, or will the Gold Team maintain their advantage and secure the win?
