❤️‍🔥 HEADS HELD HIGH, HEARTS FULL OF GRATITUDE: WE FALL TOGETHER, WE RISE TOGETHER! 🏆

Tonight, our title defense in the 2nd Calbayog Open Invitational Basketball Tournament 2026 came to a hard-fought, emotional conclusion with an official 71-86 final score in the Championship Game at the Calbayog City Sports Center.
First and foremost, our warmest and most sincere congratulations go out to WB and Sophia x Sta. Margarita Warriors on capturing the championship title! They played an outstanding, elite-level game down the stretch, showing incredible skill, poise, and sportsmanship. Sharing the finals court with an opponent of their caliber was a privilege, and we hold their entire organization in the highest regard. 🤝🏀
While we fell short of bringing home the trophy tonight, true championship character is not measured solely by victories—it is forged in how gracefully, humbly, and proudly a team stands together in defeat. Our players gave every ounce of sweat, heart, and determination until the final buzzer, leaving zero regrets on the hardwood.
An everlasting, deeply emotional THANK YOU to everyone who built, supported, and sustained this journey from Day 1 to the final second:
City Mayor Raymund “Monmon” C. Uy. Thank you, Mayor Monmon, for your visionary leadership, unwavering commitment to sports development, and for creating a platform in Calbayog City where local athletes can dream big and compete at the highest level!
Mayor Owen Lamberto L. Siervo. Thank you for your steady guidance, encouragement, and faithful backing throughout this entire tournament run.
Our Management, Coaching Staff & Support Crew. To the entire team behind the team—our managers, coaches, trainers, and utility staff—thank you for the endless hours of sacrifice, strategy, and tireless work behind the scenes.
💛 Our Day-One Pillar, Carol Espiña (CMEB Gen. Mdse): Thank you, Ma'am Carol, for believing in this vision long before the tournament lights turned on. Your foundational faith in our players remains the heart of G7 Basketball.
🤝 Our Invaluable Sponsors & Stakeholders: Deepest gratitude to Alexander David Krist (Krist Livestock Farm), Engr. Romulo B. Sanchez Jr. (RB Sanchez Construction), JCL Gamefarm (JM Labenia), Engr. Mark Niño Benitez, and Chin Chin Galero. Your generosity made this entire campaign possible.
🏀 The Tournament Organizers, Officials & Committee. Thank you for hosting an unforgettable, high-caliber event that brought our community together through basketball.
❤️ Our Unbeatable G7 Family & Fans. You made the Calbayog City Sports Center roar with pride every single game! Through every win, every rally, and every tough moment, your voices lifted us up. We played every possession for you.
This loss is not the end of our story—it is the fuel that will fire our return. We hold our heads high, honor the process, and cherish the brotherhood we have built.
Thank you, Calbayog City! We will regroup, reload, and come back stronger than ever! ❤️⚡
