LOOK | BFP Region 9 Toughest Firefighter Challenge (Team Category) delivered a standout performance at the 10th National Fire Olympics, securing an impressive 3rd place finish against 18 elite teams from across the country. Showcasing strength, endurance, and precision, the team proved their mettle in one of the most demanding firefighter competitions nationwide.

Composed of FSINSP ROBERT S SUYOM, FO2 Ronel F Gimeno, FO1 Michelle T Bulat-ag and FO1 Clare Ann B Alvarado. Under the guidance of their coach, FINSP FAH’D FRONDIZI F ELUM, they executed each phase with discipline and determination, earning recognition among the nation’s top firefighting teams.

Their podium finish not only highlights individual excellence but also reflects the growing competitiveness and preparedness of BFP Region 9 under the leadership of the ever-supportive Regional Director, FCSUPT JERRY D CANDIDO, DSC.

LOOK|| FO1 Pitty C Salapan proved that strength knows no gender, powering her way to 4th place out of 18 regions in the Individual Female Category of the Toughest Firefighter Challenge at the 10th National Fire Olympics in Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental.

In one of the most demanding events of the competition, FO1 Salapan, guided by her Coach FINSP FAH’D FRONDIZI F ELUM, stood tall among the nation’s fiercest female firefighters, showing that a ZamboSurian is a force to be reckoned with. Her grit, resilience, and determination embody true girl power—breaking limits and raising the bar for women in uniform.

BFP9 proudly celebrates her achievement, a bold reminder that empowered women lead, inspire, and conquer.
