According to the World Health Organization Guidelines for Physical Activity and Sedentary Behavior, adults 18-64 years old should do at least 150– 300 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic physical activity; or at least 75–150 minutes of vigorous intensity aerobic physical activity; or an equivalent combination of moderate and vigorous-intensity activity throughout the week for substantial health benefits 💪

For additional advantage, adults should also do muscle-strengthening activities at moderate or greater intensity that involve all major muscle groups on 2 or more days a week!

The higher an individual’s muscle mass (and the lower their fat mass), the higher their metabolic rate, as muscle tissue burns far more energy than fat tissue at rest. Using resistance training to gain lean muscle mass is therefore beneficial to burn fat and can continue doing so long after you finish!

At MadeFit, we make sure that participants get a good mix! Strength, cardio, flexibility, and balance exercises are all part of the workout programs that our coaches carefully craft each week. Beginner or advanced, the training can be adjusted to your fitness level so you need not worry that it will be too easy or too hard for you. Join us this Friday maybe? See you at the gym!
