On May 10, 2026, the Malolos City Police Station promptly identified the cop assigned as Duty Driver of Mobile Patrol 01, after a Facebook post circulated online alleging misconduct. Acting swiftly, the Chief of Police immediately placed the concerned police officer under restrictive custody pending investigation.
Authorities likewise confiscated his issued fi****ms including his PNP Identification Card, to ensure proper control and accountability while the investigation is ongoing. A Station Order was subsequently issued formalizing his restrictive custody status.
Meanwhile, the Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD), in coordination with the complainant, is currently preparing the appropriate criminal complaints against the respondent. Simultaneously, the endorsement for the filing of corresponding administrative charges is also being processed.
PRO3 Director Jess B Mendez emphasized that the organization remains firm in enforcing discipline and accountability within the police ranks.
“This immediate action reflects our unwavering commitment to the internal cleansing efforts of the Philippine National Police under the leadership of Chief, PNP PGEN Nartatez Jr. We assure the public that appropriate criminal and administrative cases will be pursued against the concerned personnel if warranted by evidence. There is no room in the organization for any act that erodes public trust,” PBGEN Mendez said.
The PRO3 leadership further reiterated that all complaints involving police personnel will continue to be acted upon promptly, fairly, and in accordance with existing laws and PNP regulations as part of the organization’s continuing effort to strengthen integrity, professionalism, and public confidence in the police service.
