𝗗𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗔 𝗔𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗜𝗧𝗖𝗛 𝗔𝗦 𝗘𝗡𝗔 𝗙𝗧 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗡𝗦 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗙𝗖; 𝗧𝗔Ñ𝗢𝗡 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗦 𝗨𝗡𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗡

The Under 17 division of the Negros Football League (NFL) North Cluster 2 Qualifiers returned from the Holy Week break on April 6, 2026, with a day marked by tactical discipline and high-intensity disciplinary action. As teams fight for the top two spots to qualify for the NORFA Champions League Cluster Eliminations this August, the stakes have never been higher.

While Tañon College continued their clinical march toward the top, the match between ENA FT and Stallion FC ended in a whirlwind of cards and a late-game decider.

𝗘𝗡𝗔 𝗙𝗧 𝟭 – 𝟬 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗖

In a gritty defensive battle, ENA FT secured a massive 1-0 victory over Stallion FC. The game remained a scoreless deadlock until the final minute of regulation. In the $69'$ minute, John Lloyd Nerja broke through the Stallion backline to score the match-winner, sparking celebrations from the ENA bench.

However, the story of the match was the collapse of Stallion FC's discipline in the closing stages:

Sieg Bulak was sent off after receiving a second yellow card (44', 69') for a reckless foul during the goal sequence.

Bryle Vincent Florentino followed shortly after in the 70' minute, receiving a Straight Red Card for Unsporting Behavior.

Stallion FC will now face the next round significantly shorthanded due to these suspensions.

𝗧𝗮ñ𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝟯 – 𝟬 𝗘𝗿𝗯𝘂𝗴𝘇 𝗙𝗖

Tañon College demonstrated why they are the team to beat, delivering a professional 3-0 shutout against Erbugz FC. Tañon utilized their superior ball movement to dismantle the Erbugz defense early in the first half.

The scoring was opened by Kier Lorenz Martos in the 23' minute, followed by a strike from Jhon Luke Libunao in the 31'. Enrique Romulo Fernandez put the game out of reach in the 39' minute. With this win, Tañon College maintains their perfect record and a dominant goal difference.

A disappointing loss for our boys. Just 13 minutes into the first half, our forward was shown a direct red card following a challenge, which significantly affected the team’s momentum and morale. One minute later, the opposition opened the scoring, and they went on to add two more goals to seal the match. Despite the setback, the team showed resilience and will look to learn and come back stronger.
