The Volleyball Association of Monkayo (VAM) proudly announces a “Winner Takes All” Volleyball Tournament on May 28, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM at MCOW Covered Court, Poblacion, Monkayo, Davao de Oro.

We warmly invite all VAM members, Non-Members, and volleyball enthusiasts to be part of this scheduled event.

Requirements:
• Registration fee: ₱30 per player
• Wear proper sports attire
• Bring your own water and snacks
• Observe orderliness and cleanliness at all times

Note:
• Registration starts at 4:00 PM
• Game proper begins at 4:30PM
• Failure to follow instructions means NO PLAY!

VAM Participates in Municipal Volleyball Tryouts for Inter-Municipality Volleyball Tournament 2026

The Local Government Unit of Monkayo successfully conducted the Municipal Tryout for Men’s and Women’s Volleyball teams bound for the Provincial Inter-Municipality Volleyball Tournament last January 20, 2026, at the Municipal Council of Women Activity Center. The event drew strong participation from aspiring athletes, with 56 women and 67 men showcasing their skills, teamwork, and competitive spirit during the selection process.

This initiative reflects the LGU’s continued commitment to the development of sports and youth empowerment in the municipality, providing local athletes an opportunity to represent Monkayo at the provincial level. The activity was led under the visionary leadership of Hon. Manuel “JayR” N. Zamora, Jr., Municipal Mayor, reaffirming the local government’s support for grassroots sports programs and excellence in athletics.

Kami malipayon nga nangimbita kaninyu nga mamahimong mo apil sa maong tryout nga ipahigayon karung umaabot nga martes January 20, 2026 sa gigahin nga mga Oras, kini mahitabo didtua sa Monkayo Women's Activity Center Kon MCOW, Poblacion, Monkayo, Davao de Oro.

Post New-Year WTA!

The Volleyball Association of Monkayo (VAM) successfully concluded its “Post New-Year Winner Takes All Volleyball Tournament” on January 3, 2026, held at the Amakan Village, Poblacion, Monkayo, Davao de Oro.

A total of 42 players, composed of VAM members and local volleyball enthusiasts, formed four (4) competitive teams in the Men’s Division and two (2) teams in the Women’s Division. Team Caya emerged as the Men’s Division champion in Round 1, Team Sta. Josefa claimed the championship in the Women’s Division, and Team Mission secured the Men’s Division title in Round 2, with all champion teams taking home cash prizes.

The tournament renewed the love for volleyball in Monkayo, gathering athletes, uniting the community, and strengthening the local sports scene.

Let’s go VAMFam and Padayon!
