The Mati Eagle Warriors Taekwondo Team proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of our very own Eagle Warrior Jin, 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐟𝐚𝐧 𝐒. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨 of Sunbeam Christian School of Mati.

Carmen displayed exceptional determination, skill, and heart throughout the Palarong Pambansa, battling through five tough matches on her road to the championship. Every fight tested her strength, discipline, and warrior spirit, and she rose to the challenge every single time.

In the gold medal match, Carmen faced a formidable opponent from Region VI—a former Palarong Pambansa Gold Medalist and a National Team player. The final bout was intense and highly competitive, showcasing the very best of taekwondo. With focus, courage, and unwavering determination, Carmen emerged victorious with a 𝟐-𝟎 𝐰𝐢𝐧, claiming the Gold Medal and bringing honor to our team, school, city, and region.

Congratulations to our Eagle Warrior Jin, 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐥 𝐁. 𝐏𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐢 of Immaculate Heart of Mary Academy for an outstanding performance at the Palarong Pambansa 2026 and for bringing home a well-deserved Silver Medal! 💪🔥

Shameer displayed incredible determination, grit, and heart throughout the tournament, battling through four tough matches on his road to the finals. Each fight showcased his skill, discipline, and true Eagle Warrior spirit.

In the championship match against Baguio, Shameer gave everything he had in an intense and closely contested battle. The match ended with a 2–1 score, falling just short of the gold medal. While the result may have been a narrow loss, his performance was nothing short of inspiring.

Reaching the Palarong Pambansa is never easy. It takes years of sacrifice, dedication, discipline, and perseverance to earn a place among the country's best student-athletes. Simply stepping onto the national stage is already a victory in itself, and competing for the championship is an achievement that deserves recognition and respect.

We are incredibly proud of you, Shameer. Your Eagle Warrior family celebrates this remarkable accomplishment with you. 🦅🥳
