From quiet beginnings to a striker’s instinct. ⚽️🔥

Arayat Athletics Academy original Dani Tanjangco has been putting in the work since 2022—refining her movement, sharpening her finishing, and growing into a forward who plays with purpose, composure, and an uncompromising work rate.

Dani is the kind of player who never switches off. She presses, chases, battles, makes the run, tracks back, and keeps going when the game gets tough. A true workhorse on the pitch.

It was during these grassroots years that the foundation was built—not just in technique, but in habits, discipline, resilience, and the mindset to keep pushing. At the same time, she was playing both football and futsal at De La Salle Zobel, developing her rhythm, quick decision-making, and instinct in tight spaces.

Now a Junior at the De La Salle University, step by step, the work showed:
🏆 Rookie of the Year
⚽️ Golden Boot
🎯 Best Striker

At the club level, she has already been part of a championship side:
🏆 PFF Women’s League Champion 2023 – Kaya FC–Iloilo Women

And now, another milestone awaits.

✈️ AWCL squad — flying to Bishkek to compete on the continental stage. A moment made possible by years of grassroots development and progression.

From grassroots football at Arayat, to school football and futsal, to freshman university honors, a league championship, and now the AWCL—Dani’s journey is a reminder that development is built through the work you put in long before anyone is watching.

For Dani, that work rate has never been optional. It’s part of who she is as a player.

🇵🇭⚽️ From Arayat to AFC WOMEN’s CHAMPIONS LEAGUE.

Anaiah Sotto is proof of what patient development looks like — an ARAYAT ATHLETICS ACADEMY product since age 10 — and she continues to raise the bar.

She began her journey as a defender at age 6 — fearless, relentless, and earning the nickname “Anaiahlator” for the way she shut down attackers. Today, she has evolved into an attacking threat — now playing as an attacking midfielder and winger for Kaya FC–Iloilo.

Anaiah entered the senior women’s environment at a young age — already training and competing alongside older players by 12, even becoming one of the youngest in both club and national team pools.

And that was just the start.

That early breakthrough became the foundation for everything that followed — continued growth in both the senior and youth game, MVP honors at tournaments like the Villarreal Yellow Cup Femenina Sub-13 in Spain (as the only Filipina in an all-Spanish team), and multiple MVP finishes in competitions such as the Masskara Cup in Bacolod.

At 12, Anaiah made her PFF Women’s League debut for Kaya FC–Iloilo in 2023 — becoming the youngest player in the league at the time and winning a championship in the same season and the recently concluded PFFWL 2026. With carefully managed minutes, she stepped onto the pitch alongside players more than twice her age — breaking barriers and quietly setting a new standard for what young Filipina footballers can achieve.

Now, at just 15, she takes another leap forward — heading to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to compete in the AFC Women’s Champions League (AWCL), one of Asia’s highest and toughest levels of club football.

This is what grassroots is all about.

Identifying potential.
Building with patience.
Developing with purpose.
Testing at the highest level.

And she’s still CONTINUING to GROW.

Another weekend. Another chance to learn. Another reason to be proud. 💙⚽

Copa Haribon may be over, but the memories, lessons, and growth will stay with us long after the final whistle.

🥈 U12 showed resilience, teamwork, and determination to bring home the Silver Medal.
🥉 U10 battled their way to a Bronze Medal finish.
💙 U8 finished 3rd in their group and gained something much more—confidence, experience, and the courage to keep improving.

At Arayat Athletics Academy, we celebrate more than medals. We celebrate effort, character, resilience, and the willingness to keep showing up and getting better.

We’re incredibly proud of every player who wore the Arayat badge this weekend. Thank you to our coaches, families, and supporters for being part of the journey.

Every tournament is a chapter. Every challenge is a lesson. And we’re just getting started.

Training prepares you. Matches reveal what you've learned.

Three months, countless matches, and a full season of growth — that's what the Unity Cup gave our young athletes.

Every minute on the field was a chance to apply the lessons from training, solve problems under pressure, and build the kind of confidence that only real competition can teach. No drill can fully replicate the pressure of a match — the decisions, the pace, the emotions. That's why we believe game time and watching matches is an important part of developing well-rounded players.

To every Arayat Athletics Academy athlete who stepped up match after match this Unity Cup season — proud of how far you've come. 🩵⚽

Another valuable day of football as our young athletes trained and played together with IMUS FOOTBALL ACADEMY in a friendly match. These games give our players the chance to apply what they've been working on in training, face new challenges, and continue growing both individually and as a team.
