If Olivia taught us anything, it’s that u + me = a heart forever and we think the same goes for the people, memories, and community you’ll find here in CASP. 🫂

The math seems pretty simple to us:

u + your favorite CASPers + countless meetings + spontaneous laughs + meaningful service + a whole lot of growth = a year you’ll never forget 💛

All that’s missing is Ü!

The UP-CASP Executive Committee Nominations for AY 2026-2027 are officially OPEN!

Check out the nomination form and position details below. The form is open till June 26, 2026, Friday. We can’t wait to be with you 4ever! 🤭

Aju Nice! 🎉💎

Because it’s our CASP Membership Chairperson, Teresa’s, special day! 🥳

Today, we celebrate MemComm’s darling, 😻always making sure things run smoothly as the undisputed mother of the group. She truly is a Pretty U inside and out. 😉 Her dedication, kindness, and countless efforts are always Very Nice and deeply appreciated. 🫶

May this year bring you lots of happiness (especially in the form of concert tickets 🤞), success in everything you do, and all the things your heart desires.

Happy Birthday, Teresa! 🥳 Enjoy your day. You deserve all the love and celebration today and always! 🎂✨

📢 CASPers, kamusta ang bakasyon mode natin? 👀

Are you like Girlie 🌴 who is fully embracing the summer break?

Whatever your June era looks like, remember: you don't have to spend your break the same way as everyone else. After a long academic year, rest is productive, hobbies are productive, growth is productive, and sometimes, even doing nothing is exactly what you need.

As we welcome June, we also celebrate Pride Month! It is a time to honor authenticity, diversity, and the freedom to be unapologetically yourself. 🌈✨
Happy vacation, CASPers, and Happy Pride Month! May this month bring you the rest, joy, and self-expression you deserve. ☀️💙

Today marks the 15th anniversary Global Accessibility Awareness Day! 🌐

This event aims to promote the awareness of digital accessibility, which allows PWDs to engage with digital content and platforms (e.g., applications, social media).

But what is digital accessibility? 💡
These are the features that utilize assistive technologies and accommodations that allow for ease of access of the website or online platform. Examples of these include captioning, audio descriptions, screen readers, and many more!

Over 1 billion people live with disabilities. The top three most common accessibility failures found on online websites are low contrast text, missing image alt text, and missing form labels (WebAIM, 2026). Surfing through digital spaces poses several challenges if not made accessible. Providing access not only helps PWDs, but the features are beneficial to all online users. As active participants in the digital age, let us remember to keep our online spaces accessible and inclusive to all.

One night I was bored in bed and stalked you on the internet. 👀 It’s feminine intuition ‘cuz I always had a vision of us standing like this… you as CASP’s Secretary General!

Happiest birthday to CASP’s one and only Secretary General, Pau! 🥳

Thank you for keeping the org alive through your minutes, follow-ups, and 51420 reminders?! 🤯

We wish you a birthday filled with scrumptious food, complete sleep, and all the love you deserve! 🩵

Once again, happy birthday, Pau! CASP is lucky to have someone as reliable and as bubbly as you. 🫵

"May na?!?!"

Mangangalahati na nga eh, pero 'yung antok natin pareho lang since January! 🫩

Pero naisip at na-realize mo na ba na patuuuuloy mo pa ring nilalabanan 'yung antok na 'yan EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. ⏰️ And that's proof, guys, na patuloy pa rin tayong lumalaban! 💪

Kape muna, konting self-pep talk, tapos laban ulit. 🙌 Let’s choose to show up this Monday not because we’re fully ready, but because we refuse to stay stuck. GANORN! 🔥

Smile naman dyan oh! 🤗

STOP 🛑, SPEAK🗣️, AND LISTEN👂!

This month of May embarks the Speech-Language-Hearing Awareness Month 📣, where we raise awareness of communication and hearing disorders, and celebrate the potent role of the profession in building a nation where speech and hearing is accessible to all. ✨

Moving through this month, may we champion awareness, advocate for equitable resources, and foster spaces where communication in all its forms is recognized, supported, and celebrated. 💬

CASPers, put your records on, tell me your favorite song 🤔🎶
As you scream and shout, and let it all out, or allow your iPod to be stuck on replay, don’t let noise rein you in and leave your ears ringing like tinnitus. 😉

This April 29, we celebrate International Noise Awareness Day! Just like that remix, we hear various kinds of noise in our everyday soundtrack. However, continuously being exposed to it from commutes, galas, to everyday kwentuhan, comes at the cost of our healthy and functional hearing. ❤️‍🩹 With this, we ask: are we still listening to our limits?

Before sounds become muffled and conversations become harder to follow, let’s learn to turn the volume down. 🔇

Remember: your ears don’t have a reset button! 🔁 So, keep the words, music, and moments, but protect the way you hear them. 👂 Your ears talk to you, too!
