Last leg of my korea trip! Finally balik 36 degrees na ulit LOL! So much realizations with this trip but one thing really struck me. Gratitude. I’m so grateful I was able to experience these things and travel and explore the world; In happiness and in health.
Last few hours in Korea I was alone, and everything just sank in. How much we focus on rushing things, achieving things like our lives depend on it and we tend to overlook being in the present and really bask in the moment. Although working for our dreams and goals and vision is important, I realized that it’s not as critical as it is to live in the moment. We tend to worry so much of the things that haven’t happened yet and work so hard to prevent the bad things we imagine to occur that we tend to disregard the beauty of our present. So much missed opportunities where we can feel wonder and in awe of just being alive and well. To have the freedom to move and express ourselves. I really pray that more people get to experience life and not just look forward to it. To live in the moment and not to live just worrying about the future that may not even happen. Just remember that what you are now and where you are now is the future of your previous self you so tirelessly worked hard for. So enjoy and take that time to celebrate you success.
