Bless them with strength to overcome challenges, courage to stand for what is right, and a heart that seeks Your will above all. NEW ERA BEGINS 🏐🇵🇭

Frank Lao is elected President of the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF), leading a new board that Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) president Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino describes as a “committed team” capable of sustaining volleyball’s progress.

Atty. Donn Kapunan serves as Vice President, Rommel Ng as Treasurer, and Atty. Wharton Chan as Auditor, while Ramon “Tats” Suzara and six others join the board as trustees: Sienna Olaso, Francis Chad Salimbangon, Carmela Gamboa, Rustico Camangian, Mohamad Bernan Jr., and Jonas Cabochan. Donaldo Caringal is appointed Secretary-General, with the remaining three members of the 13-person board to be announced soon.

Almighty Father,

On this day of the PNVF Election, August 10,
may equality prevail among all members.
Grant that the voice of every referees association be heard, and let true concern be shown for the welfare of legitimate referees. May no referees association be neglected, but instead be treated fairly and with respect. Do not allow selfish ambition to take root, but let only Your will be done.

To all who will elect leaders, grant them wisdom, compassion, and humility,
and may their love for You, Lord God,
be the foundation of their service to the PNVF.

Together with referees, may the hearts of players, businessmen, and coaches
be open to decisions that serve the common good, not personal interest.

At the same time, we lift up our nation
now experiencing Typhoon Maymay.
Protect every family,
keep safe those on the roads and coastlines,
and strengthen those who rescue and help.
May this storm pass in peace and safety,
and may our faith remain steadfast.

Heavenly Father, the King of all Kings, our Savior, our Sovereign God,

On this eve of the Philippine National Volleyball Federation elections, we ask You to guide every candidate and leader with transparency and humility. May they serve with integrity, putting the growth of volleyball and the unity of the community above personal ambition.

We also uphold Referee Association, that it may never regret its mission of fairness and integrity. Strengthen the referees to lead by example, with courage and humility, as they safeguard the spirit of the game.

Lord, as Typhoon Maymay approaches, we pray for protection over families, players, and communities. Calm the storm, shield the vulnerable, and grant wisdom to responders and leaders to act with compassion and urgency.
