Finally—a Spartan Race that was cramp-free, burpee-free, and pure adrenaline! It was the perfect run and a massive win for where I am right now!

20/20 Obstacles 💯✅️

​Last Saturday, I kicked off my 2026 Spartan season with the 5km Sprint, and it was a day for the history books. Not only was it a blast watching my daughter crush her fifth Spartan Kids race, but I absolutely shattered my own records!

​I crossed the finish line with a brand-new Personal Best of 51:46! To put that in perspective, my last solo Sprint in 2023 took 1:08:16—that is a massive jump! Seeing the progress year after year is the ultimate rush; all those training miles are officially paying off. I’m not at my final goal time just yet, but with this momentum, I’m going to keep running until I catch it. On to the next one!

Thank you Lord I finished the race in one piece! I usually pray during race lalo na kapag Beast at napapatanong sa sarili bakit ko ba ginagawa 'to? 😆 but this time, I prayed sa finish line thanking for a safe race!

Big thanks to my wife KC for supporting this hobby of mine. Let's race again soon!

2nd run ko palang ito for March tapos Spartan Race na sa Sabado. 😅
Sa totoo lang, di naman talaga ako natutuwa tumakbo. Sino ba naman matutuwa masakit sa katawan, masakit sa legs. 😆 pero bakit ba ako nagpupumilit tumakbo at magworkout?

1. Basketball - gusto ko lumakas maglaro, yun bang takbo ng takbo sa court. 😆
2. Spartan Race - makamit ang cramp-free race for a faster time
3. Health - syempre dapat healthy tayo para sa pamilya natin. Tapos lagi pa gusto makipaglaro ng anak mo sayo tapos di ka makagalaw? Yun ang ayoko mangyari sa akin.

At dahil malapit na ulit ang Spartan Race na sinalihan ko, takbo muna!First run ko pala ito ngayong March. 🤣 bawi nalang...

First run ko pala ito ngayong March. 🤣 bawi nalang. Mahaba pa naman ang buwan. Tamang pace lang muna since kakastart lang ulit and to build endurance din. Tara papawis!

At dahil less than a month nalang for another Spartan Race, let's do some Spartan Burpees!
Each obstacle na hindi mo magagawa, you need to do 30 of these Spartan Burpees. Naalala ko noon, I did 150 burpees in 1 race. 😆 those were the days.

Last night's run. 1st run for Feb. 5km muna dahil matagal napahinga from running. Di ko kasi macharge yung bone conductor ko, not sure kung yung cable ang may problem or the unit itself. 😅 buti nalang may binigay sa akin si misis na smart band (thanks mahal! 😍), na natest ko kagabi. Ok na ok! Checked the stats vs Samsung Health App almost the same naman.

Sa totoo lang ay medyo tinatamad ako kagabi tumakbo. Kaya lang tuwing bball day na ang bilis ko mapagod, kaya walang no choice kung gusto lumakas. 😆
