SPORTS FEATURE | The true measure of a coach is never defined by the championships attained, nor by the number of times history is etched—because greatness is never engraved on trophies alone.

And time will eventually silence every whistle and close every chapter of a tournament. Yet, the woven tapestry of lessons that were planted will continue to flourish through every player who chooses courage over surrender, humility over pride, and purpose over personal glory.

This is how the late Eddie "Bange" Evangelista, former head coach of the Bulacan State University (BulSU) Gold Gears volleyball team, is remembered—not merely as a mentor who produced champions, but as a father who devoted his life to raising them. | via Jannes Magayon, PACESETTER

Kaisa ang ating mga mag-aaral, g**o, at kawani, ang Bulacan State University ay mariing naninindigan laban sa lahat ng anyo ng korapsyon.

Bilang iisang pamantasan, ang BulSU ay hindi mananatiling tahimik na tagamasid sa laban na ito, bagkus ay kaisa ang buong BulSU community at ang sambayanang Pilipino sa pagsusulong ng makatao at tapat paglilingkod—para sa BulSU, para sa bayan, at para sa kinabukasan ng ating bansa.

The Bulacan State University Badminton Team will hold tryouts for 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝘀 starting August 14, 2025, at JCAS Sports Alley. Test your skills against fellow players and prove you’ve got what it takes to wear the BulSU colors with pride.
