Team Philippines topped Team Singapore 9-7 to secure gold in flying disc ultimate frisbee at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand. Since the sport is a demo event, the medal won’t appear in the official tally.

✅Philippines Claims Gold in Ultimate at SEA GAMES Thailand 2025 🇵🇭🥇

The World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) proudly celebrates the conclusion of the Ultimate competition at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Bangkok, Thailand, marking a historic milestone as Flying Disc sports were featured for the first time as a demonstration sport in a full Olympic Movement multi-sports event.

In a thrilling final, the Philippines earned the gold medal with a 9 – 7 time-capped victory over top-seeded Singapore, delivering a dramatic last possession that will be remembered as a landmark moment for the whole Ultimate community. Malaysia secured the bronze with a 12 – 7 victory over Thailand, the host nation, which was honored with the Spirit of the Game Award for their outstanding sportsmanship.
